Here's an unfinished music video project. I thought the concept was interesting, but unfortunately the deadline got too close and I had to switch to a simpler idea.
The camera was mounted on a tripod with motors synced to the sound. Then I shot with long exposures and had the motor move programmatically. Honestly, it was quite complex to put together because I had to create a tripod head from scratch on a limited budget, and code the software on an Arduino. I learnt quite a lot by doing it, even though it is unfinished.
The result is these wave forms created by car light trails! Watch the test below to get a better idea!
